Visit from SMA Negeri 1 Leuwiliang Bogor, West Java

On Thursday, May 17 2024, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Udayana University, on this occasion the Dean, Koprodi and Sub Coordinators within FISIP UNUD received a visit from SMA Negeri 1 Leuwiliang Bogor, West Java. The group came in quite a large number, 160 students and 10 accompanying teachers. The students consist of students majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and Languages. Due to limited room capacity in the Hall on the 4th floor, the group was divided into two, 80 people were received in the hall and another 80 people were received in classroom 3.4 of the Fisip Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar.

Likewise, the campus is also divided into two parts, namely in the hall received by the Dean of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Unud Dr. Drs. I Nengah Punia, M.Si., accompanied by representatives from three Study Programs (Prodi), namely from the International Relations Study Program. Mr A.A. Bagus Surya Widya Nugraha, S.I.P., M.Si., Communication Science Study Program Mr. Calvin Damasemil, S.I., Kom., M.Sc. and from the D3 Library Study Program Mrs. Ni Putu Premierita Haryanti, S.Sos., M.A, while in class 3.4 it was received by the Deputy for Student Affairs and Information Mr. Dr. I Made Anom Wiranata, S.IP., M.A, accompanied by the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance Mr. Dr. Piers Andreas Noak, S.H., M.Sc., Representative from the Public Administration Study Program Mrs. Juwita Pratiwi Lukman, M.A.P., Sub-Coordinator for Academic and Student Affairs Mrs. Ida Ayu Putu Meiyanthi, SS and Sub Coordinator for General Affairs and Equipment Mr. I Made Sudarsana, S.Sos.

Mr. Dean and Mr. Deputy Dean III opened the event by introducing the study programs at Fisip Unud with their respective advantages. The dialogue lasted for two hours with discussions and questions from students and accompanying teachers. Their questions were about which study programs are the flagship of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Unud, what is the UKT amount for each study program, what scholarships are offered at Udayana University. The visit ended with exchanging souvenirs and group photos.

The hope of the leaders of Fisip Unud is that of the 160 students who visit Fisip Unud there will be those who are interested in studying at Fisip Unud.
