HIMA AP FISIP UNUD Holds Competition and Inspirational Talkshow as an Effort to Introduce Public Administration Study Program to High School Students
Sunday, (15/10/2023). The Public Administration Student Association of FISIP Udayana University held PAXION (Public Administration Expo and Competition) activities. This year's PAXION activity carries the theme "Creating an Innovative and Creative Next Generation with Public Administration Science", which has several series of activities that have been carried out. Among them are Competition activities which consist of Opinion Contests, Poster Contests and Creative Video Contests. The participants in the Competition activities were all high school students in Bali.
The next series, PAXION carried out Talk Show & Open House activities which were held on Sunday, October 15, 2023 offline at the Hall Room of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sudirman Campus, Udayana University. This activity began at 08.30 WITA which was preceded by a Report and Remarks from Ni Putu Yosinta Dewi as the Chairperson of the Committee. Followed by remarks by Ida Bagus Made Wedhana Manuaba as Chairman of the Public Administration Student Association of Udayana University. And continued with remarks by the Coordinator of the Public Administration Study Program Mr. I Putu Dharmanu Yudartha, S.Sos., M.PA who also inaugurated the PAXION event this year. This year's PAXION Talk Show & Open House activity is packaged in a sharing session which aims to introduce the Public Administration Study Program to the public, especially to high school students throughout Bali and invite competent speakers.
The first speaker session was given by Beta Nuke Devine as an active student of Public Administration with the topic of discussion "Education and Assignment: To Survive Your College Life". This talk show session was hosted by moderator Kadek Chyntia Oktaviani. This session discussed the transition from student to student with various privileges. The speaker also provided tips for time management and discussed learning strategies for students as well as supporting activities that students can participate in. The sharing session activities went well, where Talk Show & Open House participants were active in giving their opinions and actively asking questions. At the end of the session, a certificate was handed over to the speaker and a group photo session was held.
The next agenda was to announce the winners and hand over certificates to the competition participants as well as a documentation session with all the winners in each competition. After that, a break session was held as well as an entertainment program. Followed by the second session, the material was presented with the topic of discussion "College Life Balance: Say Yes or No to Organization?" given by I Dw Gd Taksusepta Reksa Armajaya, S. AP as an Alumni of Public Administration. In the sharing session this time discussed how his experience during his time as a student of Udayana University Public Administration Study Program. The speaker presented material related to activities he did such as internships and organizations. And explained how to manage time, manage college and organizational tasks and how to manage organizational members. The event ended by handing over certificates to speakers and moderators and conducting a group photo session as documentation.
