SOFTNEWS STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENTS IN COMMUNICATION SCIENCE STUDY PROGRAM

Tuesday, June 3, 2025 - Once again making proud achievements, several Communication Science students of Udayana University brought home awards in various fields. Not only just competing, they managed to show their talents and achievements which were positively assessed by the judges in an event. Both at the city/district, provincial, and national levels, these winning students have proven to be superior and have competent competitiveness in their respective fields. This achievement is a plus point and a source of pride for the Institution and students.

Made Ayu Nisa Striratna (Nisa), a Communication Science student from the class of 2023, successfully achieved the title of winner of Jegeg Bangli 2025 in the Jegeg Bagus Bangli 2025 election held in the Bangli square on May 13, 2025. By holding the title of Jegeg Bangli 2025, Nisa's journey does not stop at this point. Nisa will represent Bangli in the Jegeg Bagus election competition at the Bali Province level in the future. "The Jegeg Bangli crown is not the reason I reached this point, but the desire to dedicate myself to my homeland, Bangli," said Nisa in expressing her feelings.

Not only Nisa, other Communication Science students also managed to achieve achievements in the 2025 Bali Provincial Language Ambassador selection event. I Gusti Ayu Chintya Pradnyadewi (Gung Chintya), a Communication Science student class of 2023, won the title of winner of the 2025 Bali Provincial Language Ambassador on May 24, 2025, which was held at Kertha Gosana, Badung Regent's Office. It doesn't stop here, Gung Chintya's journey will continue in the National Language Ambassador selection event which will be held later. "Every time is learning, everyone is a teacher, and every place is a school," said Gung Chintya as the 2025 Bali Provincial Language Ambassador.

Not only the ambassador election, Udayana University Communication Science students also contributed to the good name of the institution in national competitions. Nova Fitri Permatasari (Nova), a Communication Science student from the class of 2023, won three awards in a row in the News Anchor competition. Nova's achievements are;

Third Place News Anchor Umsida National News Anchors Competition organized by the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo on December 14, 2024. First Place News Anchor at News Anchor Commfest 5.0 by Darussalam Gontor University on January 25, 2025. And First Place News Anchor Festival Competition 2025 which was held online on February 19, 2025. Nova managed to prove that her talents and abilities can be recognized, even though she had to go through various obstacles. "I am not someone who excels in academics, but I try to cover up my shortcomings through the achievements that I have achieved in non-academics. I think this is also one of the things that I can give to Udayana University," said Nova in expressing her pride in the achievements that have been achieved.

Meanwhile, Communication Science students from the 2024 batch also contributed to the good name of the study program institution. Made Pramitha Dwi Ardiantini (Mita), won the Outstanding Student Selection event - PILMAPRES FISIP Unud 2025 which was held by the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Udayana University (BEM FISIP) on April 27, 2025. Mita packaged the PILMAPRES event theme "Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the Industrial Revolution 4.0" by presenting innovations regarding the design of English-based learning applications packaged in the form of storytelling. "You don't have to be perfect to start, but you have to start to be perfect.", said Mita in delivering the motivational sentence she used during the process.

Seeing the brilliant achievements of Udayana University Communication Science students is certainly proof that the enthusiasm, creativity, and hard work of the students are able to bring the good name of the campus to shine. Hopefully their achievements will inspire other students to continue to work and believe in their potential.
