IMPROVING YOUTH/ YOUNG HUMAN HUMAN RESOURCES IN BATUAN VILLAGE, STUDENTS OF KKN-T FISIP PERIOD III IMPLEMENT THE 2024 BATUAN TOURISM AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
Eight young men and women from Batuan Village representing their respective banjars competed in the 2024 Batuan Tourism Ambassador Election event which was held by FISIP students who were implementing KKN-T in the village. The eight people were divided into four pairs consisting of Ni Putu Bintang Kinar Galih paired with Putu Adi Guna Artha representing Banjar Puaya. Followed by the second pair, namely Luh Ayu Sekar Dewi Parwati paired with Kadek Diva Rasnatha representing Banjar Lantangidung. The third pair, Ida Ayu Ketut Rahning Putri Pertiwi and Ida Bagus Made Naoya Widyantara, represented Banjar Gerih. And the last pair representing Banjar Dentiyis with the name Ni Wayan Diah Cinthya Dewi is paired with I Wayan Kostiajuna. These four pairs ultimately became finalists to take part in several series of activities until they finally advanced to the Grand Final round.
Before advancing to the grand final round, the finalists will of course go through a series of activities that have been prepared by the committee consisting of KKN-T FISIP students and the Karang Taruna of Batuan village. The series includes in-depth interviews, training I, presentation, training II, photoshoot, and the Grand Final. And until now, the finalists have gone through 4 series. The first series was completed on Saturday, November 11 2023, presenting two judges, namely Ni Luh Putu Intan Afsari who is the 2022 Bali Intelligence Tourism Ambassador and Dewa Made Raditya Permana Putra who is the 2023 Tourism Ambassador IV Runner Up.
presenting several mentors, including Ida Ayu Alit Srilaksmi who is the 2023 Bali Province Language Ambassador, Kadek Cintya Cahya Wirayani who is the Top 17 Miss Universe Bali 2023, and Kadek Bagus Krishna Dwipayana who is also the 2023 Bali Province Language Ambassador. is a Presentation of the Potential of Batuan Village by eight finalists on Sunday, November 19 2023. In this presentation session, the finalists are expected to be able to analyze and provide innovations to increase the tourism potential in Batuan village by presenting guest judges who are no less interesting, such as Gede Adrian Maha Putra who currently serves as the Indonesian Inspiration Ambassador by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. RI and Chelsea Astini who is the 2023 Bali Tourism Talent Ambassador.
Entering the fourth series, the 2024 Batuan Tourism Ambassadors have just held training session II on Sunday, November 26 2023. In this session, the finalists received 3 materials which will provide in-depth training for them before becoming Batuan 2024 Tourism Ambassadors. In this session, the committee presented 3 resource persons , namely the Gianyar Province Tourism Office, Dinda Audreya Azhari Barenns, who this year won first place in the Bali Tourism Ambassador event, and Ni Luh Putu Diah Desvi Arina, who since 2019 has been Miss Internet Indonesia.
So far, all the series that have been running have been carried out at the Batuan Village Perbekel Office by utilizing the potential and facilities owned by the village. This activity was also chosen as the final work program by FISIP KKN-T students at Batuan Village, Udayana University with the aim that in the future there will be sustainability and a physical form left in this village. Apart from that, Batuan Village has become a tourist destination that is visited by many local and foreign tourists. With technological developments, promotion of this tourist village is being carried out more digitally and the younger generation is more affected. Therefore, the younger generation plays a role in spearheading its development. So, empowering young men and women in this village is the most appropriate way to help realize the goals of Batuan Village.
Furthermore, the selection of Batuan Tourism Ambassadors will enter the Photoshoot series on December 1 2023 and the peak series on December 10 2023.
