Public Administration Student Association Holds Environmental Care Room as a Real Contribution to the Community in Banua Village

(18/11/2023). The Public Administration Student Association is again holding the Environmental Care Room activity or what is often known as the Sensitive Room. In Peka Room 2, the Public Administration Student Association carried out community service in Banua Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency with the theme "Gana Siddhi Bhakti Buana" with the concept of "One Action, One Change" which is expected to be able to emphasize the important role of individuals in maintaining cleanliness. can have a big impact in the long term. Environmental Care Room 2 (Ruang Peka) which was held on November 18 2023 was attended by Representatives of the Villages of Banua and Seka Teruna Teruni Dharma Cakti. This activity aims to make a real contribution to society in terms of preventing the breeding of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito which can cause Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). This activity is also expected to increase students' awareness and responsibility as agents of change in society through their knowledge, understanding and actions.

Ruang Peka's activities began with remarks from the chairman of the committee, namely Komang Heny Tri Hapsari, followed by remarks from the Chairman of the Public Administration Student Association, Ida Bagus Made Wedhana Manuaba and continued with remarks from the Head of Banua Village, namely Mr. I Ketut Tileh, who also opened the Ruang Peka 2 event. After starting with a speech - Welcome speech, the event continued with socialization related to Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever which was presented by Mrs. Dr. Ni Ketut Cintya Riska Prathiwi, S.Ked who explained the causes, symptoms, how to treat and how to prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever and continued with a presentation from the second resource person, namely Mrs. Dewi Aprelia Meryani S.ST., M. Kes who disseminated information regarding prevention and demonstration of the correct use of mosquito larvae medication to reduce mosquito breeding. After carrying out the demonstration, participants from the socialization, namely Seka Teruna Teruni Dharma Cakti, were given mosquito larva killing medicine or what is called abate.

The activity continued with the handing over of a certificate to the village as the venue for the Sensitive Room 2 activities in 2023 which was handed over by the Chair of the Committee, Komang Heny Tri Hapsari, and continued with handing over the certificate to the speaker, namely Mrs. Dr. Ni Ketut Cintya Riska Prathiwi, S.Ked and Mrs. Dewi Aprelia Meryani S.ST., M. Kes by the Chair of the Public Administration Student Association Ida Bagus Made Wedhana Manuaba, Committee Chair Komang Heny Tri Hapsari and Deputy Chair of the Committee Kadek Trisnawati. The closing agenda was carried out by holding a photo session together with the Ruang Peka Committee, the Village and Seka Teruna Teruni Dharma Cakti.
