FISIP Udayana Metirta Yatra to Rambut Siwi Temple and Perancak Temple

In order to enliven the series of activities of the 13th Family Family Board (BK) Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, FISIP Udayana held Tirta Yatra to Rambut Siwi Temple and Perancak Temple in Jembrana Regency, Thursday 16 June 2022.

The Tirta Yatra activity was attended by the Dean (Dr. Drs. I Nengah Punia, M.Sc.,), lecturers and TU staff in the Fisip Udayana environment.

Tirta Yatra, begins with praying together at the Rambut Siwi Temple. This temple is named the Rambut Siwi Temple, because it is said that when Danghyang Dwijendra (a Hindu prophet) traveled through this temple, he met a sweeper. the. Danghyang Dwijendra gave a strand of his hair to be placed on the pelinggih in Parahyangan to be worshiped, so that all who prayed there would be safe and prosperous. Since then, this temple is called Pura Luhur Rambut Siwi.

Praying at the Perancak Temple, Perancak Village, Jembrana Regency. The history of this temple is the journey of Danghyang Nirartha, Tanjung Ketapang is the mouth of the river where Dang Hyang Nirartha arrived, now known as Perancak Village.

The purpose of holding Tirta Yatra is to strengthen the ties of brotherhood between deans, lecturers and employees who are a big family of FISIP Unud. "With the implementation of this activity, we hope that we can have a high religious spirit and be able to establish ties of brotherhood and intimacy between deans, lecturers, and employees of FISIP Unud.
