On June 10 2023, in the Kertagosana room, Badung Regency Government Center, the 2023 Bali Province Language Ambassador event took place lively. The 2023 Bali Province Language Ambassador selection event attracted the interest of more than 60 participants throughout the province of Bali. This activity is not only a place for participants to perform, but also a place to create a talented golden generation in the fields of language and literature.
Ida Ayu Alit Srilaksmi, a 2021 Communication Science student, who was one of the participants in the event, shared her interesting experience. Apparently, this event was his first experience in the world of pageants. Thanks to his curiosity and courage in making decisions, he was successful in achieving the title of Deputy II Language Ambassador for Bali Province 2023 and Language Ambassador for Warta Bali Province 2023.
His interest in language and literature, especially in the field of literacy, became his motivation to take part in the 2023 Bali Province Language Ambassador event. Taking the Indonesian Language Proficiency Test (UKBI) and successfully achieving the Very Excellent title was an interesting experience in his memory. Apart from that, another experience he gained while participating in this event was being able to understand the concept of good and correct Indonesian. He revealed that the support given by his family and friends at Udayana University Communication Science played an important role in his success in winning the title of Deputy II Language Ambassador for Bali Province 2023 and Language Ambassador for Warta Bali Province 2023.
Not to forget, he gave an inspirational message to anyone who wants to follow in his footsteps, "Don't be afraid to try, don't be afraid to compete because God will not take you this far just to fail." This motivation is an encouragement for anyone who has the desire to explore their potential and interest in the fields of language and literature.
