In an effort to expand partnership networks and strengthen the implementation of the Tri Dharma (the Three Pillars of Higher Education), faculty representatives from the Diploma III (D3) Library Studies Program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Udayana, visited the Sastramangutama Library part of the Badung Regency Archives and Library Office on October 28, 2026. The visit aimed to explore potential institutional cooperation in the fields of education, research, and community service, while also serving as a monitoring session for Universitas Udayana D3 Library Studies students currently undertaking their field internships (Praktik Kerja Lapangan or PKL) at the institution. Beyond discussing collaborative opportunities, the meeting provided a platform to exchange experiences regarding library service delivery, collection management, and various initiatives designed to enhance the quality of services provided to the public. The visit concluded with a tour of the library, guided by the Sastramangutama Library’s own staff. Through this engagement, the faculty members gained a closer look at the management practices and service operations of a public library, while also observing the professional environment in which the students are completing their internships. It is hoped that this visit will serve as an initial step toward building a sustainable partnership between the Universitas Udayana D3 Library Studies Program and the Badung Regency Archives and Library Office, ultimately fostering further collaboration to support the enhancement of student competencies and the development of the library profession.
