[22/10/2023] The Public Administration Student Association, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Udayana University has successfully carried out the Jegeg Bagus selection activity for the 2023 Public Administration Study Program, on Sunday, October 22 2023, at Balai Banjar Kaja, Pakraman Panjer Village , Denpasar. This year's Jegeg Bagus Public Administration carries the theme "Nararya Vikrama Lavani" which means a young generation who is noble, has the courage to bring about change, and is skilled in speaking in order to create intellectual people to realize progress in society.
Jegeg Bagus activities of the Public Administration Study Program are carried out through various stages and lengthy preparation. The participants have gone through a series of socialization, interview tests, debriefing, talent interest tests, essay presentations, and other series so that participants gain sufficient knowledge and experience before heading to the peak of the JEBAG AP 2023 Grand Final. This series of activities is carried out with the aim of preparing the next generation who are creative, innovative, friendly, confident, authentic, and have integrity and good insight into regional culture and tourism. Selected participants will also become representatives of the Public Administration Study Program at the Jegeg Bagus event at faculty and even university level.
The JEBAG AP 2023 activity began with a report from I Made Dedi Ari Saputra as chairman of the committee and was officially opened by I Nyoman Trisna Wahyu Raharja Meranggi as Deputy Chairman of the Public Administration Student Association. Followed by an opening dance from the three finalists selected for JEBAG AP 2023 and a question and answer session by the jury. The jury for this activity were Ngakan Made Dwika Sutadewa, Pandu Krisdiadi Sudarsono, and Putu Gyaan Vigyan Zarathustra.
At the peak of the event, Jegeg 2nd Runner Up was crowned in the name of Anastacia Eudia Silwanus and Bagus in the name of I Komang Ageng Ananda Kusumo. Then, 1st Runner Up was won by Jegeg in the name of I Gusti Ayu Agung Putri Anjani and Bagus in the name of I Komang Indra Darmawan. Finally, there was the coronation of Jegeg Bagus Public Administration 2023 which was won by Jegeg on behalf of Ni Ketut Yunita Widayanti and Bagus on behalf of Komang Tri Gun Wahyu Sanjaya. Apart from that, there were other awards, namely Jegeg Bagus Bertakat which was won by I Gusti Ayu Agung Putri Anjani and I Komang Ageng Ananda Kusumo, Jegeg Bagus Favorit won by Anastacia Eudia Silwanus and I Komang Indra Darmawan, and the last category, namely best speaker, was won by Ni Ketut Yunita Widayanti and Komang Tri Gun Wahyu Sanjaya.
The 2023 Jegeg Bagus Public Administration event ended with the awarding of titles, handing over of sashes, prizes to each of the 2023 Jegeg Bagus Public Administration finalists, as well as a group photo session. The elected Public Administration Jegeg and Bagus are expected to be able to carry out their mandate for a full year and move to the next level. Congratulations to the winners!
